Billie-this looks very well put together. I see that your research project is over by march. Is that what you intended? Other wise it looks nice and I would like to keep up with your finding!
ReplyDeleteDoes BISD have a truancy officer? I'm not for sure, but if they do that might be another contact for you. Under Timely notification of attendance infractions you state when a student receives a tardy.. do you mean absence? Looks good!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I did find one error. Helf, must mean help:) Your goal and objectives are valid, your dates are precise. Your evaluations give clarification to your action steps. Nice Work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy!
DeleteIt seems like you have it all laid out. Just change the word helf to help in your plan. (Tag students with TEAMS row)
ReplyDeleteThanks Felix!
DeleteNeat plan and very organized. It looks like you have covered all the basis for carrying out your project. Good luck with it.
ReplyDeleteYour plan shows great organization and thinking. Looks solid.
ReplyDeleteDo these truancys affect students graduations? Does it cause them to not be able to graduate? Your plan looks good. Any idea what types of activities you will create?
ReplyDeleteThat is what I will be researching. I have come up with a few which are listed. My plan is to research other things that have worked at other schools and apply them at my school.
DeleteYour plan looks great! You might want to compare your school's attendance to the other schools in your district. If your strategies work at your campus, this may be something your district wants to implement across the board! :-)
ReplyDeleteA very thorough plan which will address an important topic. If a student isn't at school they cannot learn from their teacher. I am very interested to see the results of your ARP as this is a common problem at my school as well.
